About

Hello. I am Adel

Currently SVP & Senior HR Business Partner at First Abu Dhabi Bank, the Middle East's largest bank, where I serve as a trusted advisor to business heads, executives and senior leadership teams on people, organizational and leadership matters, from senior appointments and succession planning to reward governance and organizational effectiveness.

Before this, I led FAB's Employee Value Proposition & Executive Resourcing agenda, and headed HR Business Partnering for Investment Banking, Global Markets and Global Private Banking. My earlier FAB years included Global HR Business Partnering and overseeing HR for Dubai First. I began at Dubai Islamic Bank, rising from Senior Recruiter to HR Business Partner, where I developed DIB's Nationalization Strategy for the banking sector.

I am a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, a graduate of Harvard Business School's Pioneer Leadership Program, CIPD-credentialed, and certified in the Claude AI Platform by Anthropic and AI Prompt Engineering by the Dubai Future Foundation. Also, the voice behind AdelxTalks.
